Coach Paul Cavallini
Coach Cavallini is a former NHL defenseman with nearly a decade of professional hockey experience. Paul played 564 games in the NHL with the Washington Capitals, St. Louis Blues, and Dallas Stars. During his career, he recorded impressive stats and earned a selection to the 1990 NHL All-Star Game after leading the league in plus/minus during the 1989–90 season.
Before turning professional, Paul starred at Providence College, where he helped lead the Friars to the NCAA National Championship game as a freshman and was named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team. His strong collegiate play also earned him an invitation to Canada's Olympic hockey program.
Today, Paul is passionate about sharing the knowledge and skills he gained competing at hockey's highest level. As the head coach of Priory Hockey, his coaching focuses on developing strong skating fundamentals, hockey IQ, confidence, and the work ethic required to succeed on and off the ice. This past season, he led the team to become Wickenheiser Cup Champions. Through unique and impactful training, Coach Cavallini is committed to helping every athlete improve their game while building a lifelong love for the sport.
